The dojo was started by Lee O'Connell in November 2006. We have a wonderful family members and workforce natural environment with some pretty hard follow! We have made National Champions, dan grades and kyu grades of a superb traditional. We normally have quite a few large ranking Kendo sensei visit us from all through the United kingdom and attend several seminars and competitions, which is a important element of continued study. The founder and teacher, Lee O'Connell, commenced teaching in Kendo in 1995 with Swindells Sensei and Konishi Sensei. He is presently rated Sandan and has more than 25 decades expertise in martial arts. Lee is component of the Kobudokan shiai team, who currenlty are the winners of the 2009 Sir Frank Bowden Taikai. Lee started Karate-Do at an early age and is at present Sandan, and has examined Aikido, Kobudo, Kyusho-Jutsu and competed for the British Ju-Jitsu workforce, successful three nationwide championships and european medals..
