The dojo was founded by Lee O'Connell in November 2006. We have a superb household and team environment with some really really hard follow! We have produced Nationwide Champions, dan grades and kyu grades of a wonderful conventional. The founder and instructor, Lee O'Connell, started schooling in Kendo in 1995 with Swindells Sensei and Konishi Sensei. He is now rated Sandan and has over 25 yrs practical experience in martial arts. Lee is piece of the Kobudokan shiai staff, who currenlty are the winners of the 2009 Sir Frank Bowden Taikai. Lee up and running Karate-Do at an early age and is currently Sandan, and has examined Aikido, Kobudo, Kyusho-Jutsu and competed for the British Ju-Jitsu staff, winning 3 countrywide championships and european medals..
