The founder and instructor, Lee O'Connell, began teaching in Kendo in 1995 with Swindells Sensei and Konishi Sensei. He is at the moment rated Sandan and has more than 25 yrs expertise in martial arts. Lee is part of the Kobudokan shiai team, who currenlty are the winners of the 2009 Sir Frank Bowden Taikai. Lee started out Karate-Do at an early age and is currently Sandan, and has researched Aikido, Kobudo, Kyusho-Jutsu and competed for the British Ju-Jitsu group, successful three countrywide championships and european medals..
